DayPass Services Guidelines.

This guide is intended to help you understand how DayPass works and provide you with the best practices to ensure a seamless experience for your team and guests.

Reservations.

DayPass members can reserve for the current day, the following day, or up to one year in advance using the DayPass App. Once a booking is confirmed, you will receive an email in your reservation inbox with details such as the unique reference number, guest name, DayPass date, number of guests, and amount to collect.

Similarly, the reservation details will show into the extranet section reservations / bookings.

Check-In Process.

To check-in, guests are required to present their ID and the reference number they received upon booking. If there is any doubt for security purposes or any issues, please do not hesitate to contact the DayPass team at partners[at]daypass-app.com, or from the Live Chat Support within your Extranet.

Finances.

DayPass serves with either a Pay at check-in or fully Prepaid flow, the booking confirmations you receive shall state which payment mode your property is set to, the breakdown as well as the amount to charge eventually.

How these work:

  • Pay at Check In Rates
    Guests pay a Deposit (DayPass’ Commission) on the App to confirm their booking.
    Property shall collect net payment + tax when guests check- in.

    Net Due at check-in = Rate – (Rate Excl Vat x Commission %).

  • Or PrePaid Rates
    DayPass guests pay the whole charge, including tax & fees, at booking confirmation.

    DayPass reverts the Net by virtual credit card to be charged by your team or by bank transfer.

    Net Due = Rate – (Rate Excl Vat x DayPass Commission %).

  • Invoices for each day pass sold is located and can be downloaded in your reservations tab.

DirectPass

DayPass offers Direct channel links and booking engines, the processes and flows are similar to the Platform service.

Reservations are marked as Direct, financial breakdown differ in amounts since fees are lower.

Extranet.

  • Note DayPass team can manage the calendar and offers settings on your behalf.

To Close specific dates, Modify Rates or Inventory, simply email the Partner Team at partners[at]daypass-app.com

  • Extranet Self-serve Management.

Your Extranet lets you manage your Inventory, Rates, Account Settings and Reservation tabs.

Access.

Calendar / Availability Management Tab.

• Modify Inventory, Rate on the go.
Pick a date > Modify Inventory or Rate > Update to validate.

• To Close a date or period
Pick a date or range > Check Close box > Update > Red in Calendar.

*Changes should be reflected instantly.

Reservation Tab.

• Your dashboard for Reconciliation / Planning / Check-In Purposes

*Note you can export all reservations for a specific date or for a range of dates.

• Monitor reviews, praise teammates, get alerts on improvement potential.
